Christopher A. Jones, Florida ’82, is a retired financial services executive with more than thirty-five years of leadership experience in institutional investment and retirement services. Most recently, he served as senior vice president at First Citizens Bank in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he led strategic initiatives to enhance client outcomes and operational performance. He retired in 2024.
Prior to his role at First Citizens, Chris held senior leadership positions at OneDigital/Retirement Services, BB&T (now Truist), SunTrust Institutional Investment Solutions, Trusco Capital Management, and STI Capital Management. Throughout his career, he was known for his deep expertise in investment strategy, client relationship management, and operational excellence.
Chris earned his bachelor of business administration in pinance from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business, where he also studied accounting and finance.
A dedicated Phi Delta Theta alumnus, Chris previously served as Chairman of the Chapter Advisory Board for North Carolina Delta. His continued service on the Foundation Board reflects his commitment to the Fraternity’s mission and the lifelong impact of brotherhood.
