The Phi Delta Theta Awards Program is designed to recognize and promote various levels of achievement and greatness to the Fraternity on an individual and chapter level. The Undergraduate of the Year award is given annually to several active undergraduate or Phikeia members. Each chapter has members who lead, improve, and serve their chapters, campuses, and communities daily. This award is a way for each chapter to recognize the brothers who go above and beyond for their campus communities. Each year, we ask chapters to nominate members who inspire others to become the greatest version of themselves. In 2023, Phi Delta Theta gave fifty brothers this recognition. Phi Delta Theta encourages each chapter to nominate brothers for the 2024 Undergraduate of the Year in myPhiDelt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Congratulations, Luke Andritsch, Bulter ’26<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Luke has only been a part of our Fraternity for a semester, but he has already profoundly impacted the brotherhood. For one, Luke became the first Phikeia in our chapter\u2019s history to become an Iron Phi, leading the way for many of his Phikeia brothers to follow suit and earn Iron Phi status. Luke also raised over $1,000 for the Butler University Dance Marathon in less than twelve hours because of his passion for the Riley Children\u2019s Hospital and their work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This involvement on campus and in the greater Indianapolis community makes Luke a special human. Having been a Riley Kid himself, Luke has a special attachment to the organization, and he also volunteers for A Kid Again, an organization that works to give ill children fun experiences during their battles with different diseases. Luke is the embodiment of Rectitude and is always striving to make the lives of others better.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luke is among the few new members elected to Indiana Gamma\u2019s Executive Committee next academic year as our philanthropy chairman. This position demands a lot of time and effort, and Luke\u2019s election is a testament to our brothers\u2019 faith in him and his abilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of Luke\u2019s efforts this semester have earned him the utmost respect of his brothers\u2014every single person who has met Luke will first note how great he is to be around, and he is such a credit to our Fraternity.
