Roger Denny, Southeast Missouri State \u201904, was named executive senior associate athletic director and chief operating officer for the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics (DIA) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Denny, an attorney with nearly fifteen years of experience practicing law, joins University of Illinois from SpencerFane LLP in St. Louis, where he has been a partner since 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this role, Denny oversees DIA’s business office, facilities and capital projects, human resources, and sports technology. He also oversees the Atkins Tennis Center, the Atkins Golf Club, the Orange and Blue golf courses, and the Armory. In addition, Denny supervises DIA camps and clinics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Denny earned a bachelor of science in political science from Southeast Missouri State University, a Juris doctorate from St. Louis University, and a master of laws in tax from Washington University in St. Louis. Denny and his wife, Alecia, and their twin sons, Trey and Michael, made the recent move from St. Louis to Champaign County, Illinois.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
