Myk was raised in the Muscle Shoals, area of North Alabama. He attended the University of Utah, under the tutelage of Kenneth H. Washington, and studied at The Shakespeare Theatre in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You\u2019ve probably seen Myk on just about every cop show on TV, most notably a recurring stint on \u201cLaw & Order: SVU\u201d, as well the all the \u201cCSI\u2019s\u201d, \u201cNCIS\u2019s\u201d, and every other procedural using acronyms. Other notable TV work include \u201cBreaking Bad, True Blood, Justified, Longmire, Scandal, just to name a few.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2019, Myk will first be seen in Season 3 of the hit HBO series, True Detective: Season 3 with Marhershala Ali (Oscar Winner for Moonlight) as well as guest starring roles on CBS\u2019 hit show \u201cElementary\u201d, and Fox\u2019s \u201cLethal Weapon\u201d. This Summer, we will see Myk as \u201cLittle Jackie\u201d in the highly anticipated big screen adaptation of DC\/Vertigo Comics \u201cThe Kitchen\u201d, alongside Melissa McCarthy, Elisabeth Moss and Tiffany Haddish. Myk is also known for his previous feature endeavors in movies like \u201cNo Country For Old Men\u201d, \u201cSpider-Man\u201d, \u201cTrailer Park of Terror\u201d and \u201cNY Prison Break\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Myk was classically trained, and has appeared in over a hundred theatrical productions, including numerous Broadway and Off Broadway hits such as \u201cTake Me Out\u201d, \u201cHank Williams; Lost Highway\u201d, \u201cThe Good Negro\u201d \u201cFive By Tenn\u201d and many, many more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
